• Encouraging subcontractors, designers and suppliers to adopt environmental policies and management systems that are satisfactory to us
• Reducing the environmental impacts of our sites and their effects on their local communities by keeping sites clean and tidy; conserving natural resources, flora and fauna, cultural and built heritage; and adopting reasonable controls for preventing air, ground, water or noise pollution
• Communicating with local communities and others with an interest in our environmental policies, plans and performance
• Using materials and products from sustainable sources wherever viable and consistent with the clients requirements, making use opportunities to minimize waste and reuse or recycle materials
• Training employees and promoting environmental awareness and commitment
• Keeping abreast of and complying with legislations, regulations and codes of practice on environmental matters relevant to our operations
• Establishing emergency procedures and notifying clients and competent authorities of environmental problems encountered during construction, and jointly resolving such issues
• Minimizing use of transport and serving vehicles regularly to maintain their efficiency
• Each employee is responsible to the Director for ensuring compliances with the policy and reviewing performance within his operation unit.
